As an example, M. Moiseev has given the statement of the Polish Foreign Minister Grzegorz Schetyna that Auschwitz was freed by Ukrainians.

«You can not talk without disgust about the passage of the Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk about the invasion of the USSR in Germany and Ukraine. At the same time, it is kept silent that such statements have become possible only because these countries were liberated by Soviet troops from German occupation."- said the deputy.

M. Moiseev reminded that either entirely or partly the Red Army liberated Romania, Poland, Bulgaria, Hungary, the eastern regions of Yugoslavia, Austria, Germany, Czech Republic, Norway, Denmark, and the troops of the Red Army had lost more than 1 million people in other countries. The Falsification of history and the revision of the results of World War II became the main theme of the International Scientific Conference "The Second World War and the present", on which historians of the Russian Federation, CIS and EU countries gathered in Moscow.

What will the consequences of the revision of the outcome of WWII be?

The revision could have negative consequences for the United Nations and even lead to the worsening of the incapacity of the organization, despite the fact that it is already quite weak, as a political scientist, a leading expert of historical perspective, Pavel Svyatenkov speaks:

"If the results of the war are going to be revised, first of all, the UN will be reformed. Let us recall that between the First and the Second World War there was the League of Nations: it was built on the principle which is very similar to the way how the United Nations is built. Nevertheless, it was decided to dissolve it and create a new organization in its place. So for the UN, there is a certain treat, which will transform this quite ineffective organization in a completely ineffective structure. And in the worst case - the abolition of the UN, as an organizations, and the creation of something new."

Reviewing the results of the Second World War is dangerous because a number of countries will fall out of the new world order. Thus, there can be no world order, but some defective organization that could collapse at any moment. Moreover, any revision of the outcome of the war jeopardizes the territorial integrity of the countries participating in the events. Four years ago Russia and China issued a joint statement in connection with the 65th anniversary of the end of World War II. We are united in the fact that the revision of its results is unacceptable. The consequences will be way too dangerous. One example of this - present tragic events in Ukraine, riot of neo-Nazi forces which have unleashed a real terror against innocent people, "- Putin said in an interview with China's leading media.

Thus, on the basis of all above, we see that the question of revision of the results of the Second World War is one of the most important and relevant problems of this day. Its outcome can affect the entire device of the modern world. That is why it is very important to bring this issue to the attention of the public and to form the correct understanding of this question, its true causes and possible consequences in its mind.

United efforts of the Allies of World War II and the forces of the Resistance in occupied countries achieved the defeat of fascism. Every country has made a contribution in victory by playing its role in this worldwide battle. The historical role of the land in defeating fascism forms the national pride, defines the authority of the country in the post-war world and the political weight in making international decisions. That's why western historiography tries to lower and distort the role of the USSR in the World War II. Soviet Union was the main military and political force that had defined the victorious stroke of the war, its results and it protected the nations of being enslaved by Nazi.

Russia as an heir of the Soviet Union needs to stand the ground for the historical truth. It is our country that has sacrificed and lost a lot. It would be unfair to minimize the meaning of the contribution that was made by our nation in the victory over Germany, considering how much our people had to overcome during the war. But the scariest thing in any war is irreparable human losses, as they are officially called. It is necessary to always remember those who have died for people and do everything for it not to be in vain.

It is known that the nation stops its existence if it loses its memory of the past. History can be rewritten so that it will consist only of disgraceful memories, and the younger generation can be taught of history that way that it will be ashamed of belonging to the nation. Perhaps, this is the purpose of those, who want to take the History away from us, showing their fear of the Splendor and the power of the Victor. That's why we need to protect the truth and not let others to distort it. We are proud of our compatriots, nation, and country. The Victory over fascism is the greatest deed of the Red Army that will always be praised and memorized in our country regardless of the results of the revision.

Summing up everything mentioned earlier it seems to be reasonable to activate the fight for steady realization of international agreements on the results of the World War II, especially in such cases as resisting to racism and Nazism, uprooting SS and other organizations that have been defined as criminal by the Nuremberg process.

A number of countries have adopted the laws that criminalize the denial of the Holocaust or the genocide of the Armenians. We should enact such laws for the denial of the significance of the victory over the fascism.

The falsification of the history requires a prompt response of historians, veterans, reputable scientists and cultural figures.

It is necessary to take measures to detect the falsifications of the Great Patriotic War, to prepare and to distribute truthful information about it. And, first of all, we should talk about the textbooks for schools and universities and organize the activity of scientific institutions for the prevention of the distortion of Russian history, especially the history of the Great Patriotic War.

We need to develop more extensive international cooperation, in particular, with the CIS countries and far abroad, especially now, when there are common threats to Russia, the United States and other countries, which require joint efforts to ensure security and stability in the world. But it is necessary to preserve the dignity of our country, in particular in the field of the history.

It leads to the necessity of the creation of a fund that will promote the publication and the dissemination of truthful, objective literature on the history of the World War II both in our country and abroad. Creating the authority to implement public control over the activities of radio and television, it would be advisable to have in its structure experts on the history of the World War II.

Finally, it would be important to prepare and publish a history of the Great Patriotic War to overcome many negative aspects in the history of the war.

For our children and grandchildren, who will inherit a free, great, strong country, which is proud of the heroism in the Great War, we have to carry the truth throughout the whole history.
